Lyrics of the song save the last dance for me watch the video of the song below the lyrics

You can dance
Every dance with the guy
Who gives you the eye
Let him hold you tight
You can smile
Every smile for the man who held your hand
'Neath the pale moonlight
But don't forget who's taking you home
And in whose arms you're gonna be
So darling', save the last dance for me, mmmm

Oh, I know (oh, I know)
That the music's fine
Like sparkling wine
Go and have your fun
Laugh and sing
But while we're apart
Don't give your heart to anyone
But don't forget who's taking you home
And in whose arms you're gonna be
So darling', save the last dance for me, mmmm

Baby, don't you know
I love you so
Can't you feel it when we touch
I will never, never let you go
I love you oh, so much

You can dance (you can dance)
Go and carry on
'Till the night is gone
And it's time to go
If he asks if you're all alone
Can he take you home you must tell him no
'Cause don't forget who's taking you home
And in whose arm's you're gonna be
So, darling', save the last dance for me

---- Instrumental ------

'Cause don't forget who's taking you home
And in whose arm's your gonna be
So, darling', save the last dance for me, mmmm

Save the last dance for me, mmmm-hummmm
Save the last dance for me, mmmm

Rs 10,000 crore loss Unnecessary Purchases by Govt brought Air India into financial mess – CAG report finding

Rs 10,000 crore loss Unnecessary Purchases by Govt brought
Air India into financial mess – CAG report finding

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) said that
Air India incurred Rs 10,000 crore losses because it was forced into buying 111 aircraft it did not need.

In 2007 Air India and Indian Airlines got merged.

CAG report said and indicts that indicts the Civil Aviation Ministry for forcing the multi billion dollar aircraft acquisition. The loss from the forced aircraft acquisition resulted into a loss of Rs 10,000 crore.

According to the CAG report the proposal to buy 43 aircraft for Indian Airlines in 2005 was done without adequate due diligence regarding the economic viability.

The induction plan was based on a study done in the 90's and hence not up-to-date, but the Civil aviation Ministry went ahead the ministry despite warnings by the Planning Commission and its own financial advisor.

Manufacturer Airbus was to invest $100 million after the deal for maintenance and repair, but the fact was missing in the final agreement.

Air India proposed to buy 28 aircraft, but Civil Aviation Ministry increased the number to 68 despite the national career's opposition.

The CAG report says the decision was earlier for a mix of aircraft, Airbus and Boeing, which was later converted to an all Boeing fleet

The deal was done despite government evaluating agencies saying that this push Air India into a deeper financial mess.

All such faulty decisions led to a loss of 10,000 crore and the current situation that the airline is now in.

Thus again this shows that we need to bring accountability on politicians and ministers.

No Protection to heart even if consume, eat less salt. Reduced Salt Consumption Kills says new research

No Protection to heart even if consume, eat less salt.
Reduced Salt Consumption Kills says new research

A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (May 4), reports that among 3,681 study subjects followed for as long as 23 years, the cardiovascular death rate was more than 50 percent higher among those on who consumed less salt.

The study found no evidence that dietary salt causes those conditions to arise.

The researchers concluded that their findings, “refute the estimates of computer model of lives saved and health care costs reduced with lower salt intake” and they do not support “the current recommendations of a generalized and indiscriminate reduction in salt intake at the population level.”

People who ate lots of salt were not more likely to get high blood pressure, and were less likely to die of heart disease than those with a low salt intake, in a new European study.

The findings "certainly do not support the current recommendation to lower salt intake in the general population," study author Dr. Jan Staessen, of the University of Leuven in Belgium, told Reuters Health.

The researchers used data from two different studies, incorporating a total of about 3,700 Europeans who had their salt consumption measured through urine samples at the start of the studies.

Staessen and his colleagues broke the participants up into three groups: those with highest and lowest salt intakes, and those with average intake.

None of the participants had heart disease at the outset, and two thirds had normal blood pressure.
They were followed for an average of 8 years, during which researchers determined
How many of them were diagnosed with heart disease,
And in a smaller group, how many got high blood pressure.

The chance of getting heart and blood vessel diseases did not differ in the three groups. However, participants with the lowest salt intake had the highest rate of death from heart disease during the follow up (4 percent), and people who ate the most salt had the lowest (less than 1 percent).

"It's clear that one should be very careful in advocating generalized reduction in sodium intake in the population at large," Staessen said. "There might be some benefits, but there might also be some adverse effects."

According to CBS News, Belgium scientists discovered the following:
• The lowest sodium intake patients had a 56 percent greater chance of death from heart attack or stroke than the group who used salt the most frequently.

• Low sodium intake was not associated with improved health.

The findings are published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).

But we know that FDA and other agencies even our doctors recommend us reduction in salt content in our diet.
They tell us eat less salt it will reduced the chance of heart attack.

But now this is the study finding which does not support the claim.

Both are exactly opposite to each other.

A new Belgium study about salt consumption may challenge the dietary guidelines

Best solution and idea is that Reducing salt may still be a good idea for people who already have high blood pressure or who have had heart problems in the past

Navy Seal Team 6 soldiers always use custom made weapons.
As per need of the plan the each weapon gets modified.
Every weapon is custom made for them as per the mission plan.

Each Navy seal Team 6 commando is trained to fight on land, sea or sky.
No matter where we are we will terminate the target
With exceptional qualities and unbeatable performance.

Mission and Plan decides that which weapons will be used by the Nave Seal team six.
Every Navy seal team six member is highly trained in handling all the types of weapons.

Richard "Mac" Machowicz, a former Navy SEAL sniper and the host of Spike TV's "Deadliest Warrior," told ABC News that when he was a sniper, he essentially had eight different sniper rifles tailored to different scenarios.

Machowicz said that in the bin Laden scenario, the SEALs would have likely used short-barrel weapons -- such as a shortened M4 or AR-15 assault rifle -- that allow them to easily maneuver in and out of doors, hallways and vehicles.

In the sky, in-atmosphere satellites (such as predator drones) and space-based satellites convey information to the troops on the ground.

Helmet-mounted cameras, which were reportedly worn during the mission to capture bin Laden, also transmitted information to commander’s back at base and to the situation room in Washington.

This helps the soldiers on the ground to quickly identify their targets, pick up every threat and take them down fast.

Know about Navy Seal Team Six called as Devgru who killed Osama Bin laden in Pakistan

Know about Navy Seal Team Six called as Devgru
who killed Osama Bin laden in Pakistan

The United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG), commonly known as DEVGRU and informally by its former name SEAL Team Six (ST6) is one of the United States' two secretive Tier One counter-terrorism and Special Mission Units (SMUs); the other such group is 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force).

Such type of Missions are common for Navy Seal Team 6 officially called the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, but known even to the locals at their home base Dam Neck in Virginia as just DevGru.

When SEAL Team Six was first created it was devoted exclusively to counter-terrorism with a worldwide maritime responsibility; its objectives typically included targets such as ships, oil rigs, naval bases, or other civilian or military bases that were accessible from the sea or inland waterways.

DevGru belongs to the Joint Special Operations Command and special-missions units.
Navy Seal Team Six that is Naval Special Warfare Development Group report to the president and operate worldwide based on the legal (or extra-legal) premises of classified presidential directives.
Most JSOC missions never leak.

Several dozen JSOC operatives have died in Pakistan over the past several years.
Their names are released by the Defense Department in the usual manner, but with a cover story generally, they were killed in training accidents in eastern Afghanistan. That’s the code.

JSOC costs the country more than $1 billion annually.
Two other JSOC units, the Technical Application Programs Office and the Aviation Technology Evaluation Group help to regarding radar and intelligence etc technical stuff.
The command now includes more than 4,000 soldiers and civilians. It has its own intelligence division
Under a variety of standing orders, JSOC is involved in more than 50 current operations spanning a dozen countries
Normally they are called as Rangers, Special Forces battalions, SEAL teams, and Air Force special ops units from the larger Special Operations Command, are responsible for most of the “kinetic” action in Afghanistan.

SEAL force just 10 percent are part of SEAL Team 6, the Navy’s counterpart to the Army’s Delta Force
It takes more than three years to train a SEAL at a cost of about $1 million per individual. Sailors can interview for SEAL Team 6 after about five years, and after an additional screening only about 10 percent of applicants make the team
The candidate will usually be in his 30s.
Those who pass the stringent recruitment and selection process will be selected to attend a six- to seven-month Operators Training Course. Candidates will join the unit's training wing known as "Green Team."
The training course attrition rate is extremely high; at least half the class will fail the course. During one selection course, out of the original 20 candidates, only 12 completed the course. All candidates are watched closely by DEVGRU instructors and evaluated on whether they were suitable to join the individual squadrons.

Although the unit was created as a maritime counter-terrorism unit, it has become a multi-functional Special Operations unit with multiple roles that include high-risk personnel/hostage extractions.
Such operations include the failed rescue of Linda Norgrove, the successful rescue of an American businessman, and in 1991 the successful recovery of Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide and his family during a coup that deposed him.

On May 1/2 2011, DEVGRU was involved in the operation, codename Geronimo that killed Osama bin Laden at his compound in the affluent suburb of Abottabad, Pakistan.
The team practiced the mission in a segregated section of Camp Alpha at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan in early April, 2011, using a one-acre replica of bin Laden's compound.

Modified MH-60 helicopters from the U.S. Army's 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, carried Navy SEALs and were supported by other personnel with tactical signals, intelligence collectors, and navigators using highly classified hyper spectral imagers from Ghazi Air Base in Pakistan.

It has been speculated that these helicopters may have spoofed transponder codes and been painted to resemble Pakistan Air Force equipment by other JSOC units, the Technical Application Programs Office and the Aviation Technology Evaluation Group.

Thus Navy Seal Team Six works hard and gives life for America without any credits and without any name to any individual.

Details about Geronimo-E KIA Navy Seal operation Osama Terminated Mission

It’s believed that President Obama and his team watch the complete mission in real time with other officials How Navy Seal entered and killed the terror man Osama bin laden.

Navy Seal when go on mission they got small cameras installed on their helmet. Thus live broadcasting is possible.

Geronimo was the code name for the operation that sent two teams of 12 SEALS zooming by Blackhawk helicopters to a walled compound in Abbotabad, Pakistan, on Sunday to kill or capture the most wanted man in the world.

Geronimo-E KIA what is the meaning of this code –

Geronimo meant that Nave seal located and found the terror man Osama Bin Laden.

E stood for enemy and KIA for killed in action.

Geronimo-E KIA meant that Navy Seal has terminated the enemy Osama Bin Laden.

The force that swooped down on the world's most wanted terrorist has been identified as SEAL Team Six of the "Naval Special Warfare Development Group."

In April, the Navy Seals ran two practice runs at the replica compound they built in the United States to practice the raid.

The operation was authorized Friday morning and was originally planned for Saturday night, but on Friday, for weather reasons, it was pushed to Sunday.

U.S. helicopters entered into Pakistan low to the ground and undetected.

Four helicopters swooped in to the compound and the Navy Seals fought a close quarter’s gun battle. They ordered bin Laden to surrender, but the 54-year-old who had vowed he would not be caught alive, refused. He was then shot dead. His son, Khalid, was also killed in the raid.

After a 40-minute search of the compound, punctuated by firefights, bin Laden was dead, and the cryptic "Geronimo-E KIA" code sent relief through the White House.

When the gunfire stopped, the SEALS quickly moved to determine his identity.
Two of the women at the compound identified him and the military flew bin Laden's body to Jalalabad, Afghanistan to have his DNA tested for positive identification.
SEALS measured the corpse and determined it to be over 6- feet-4.
They then transmitted photographs back to CIA headquarters and agency analysts conducted facial recognition analysis.
Their report concluded it was a 90 to 95 percent match.

Bin Laden's DNA was matched with at least two of his relatives, including one of his sisters who died in Boston and whose brain was kept by the United States.
The result came back as a 99.9 percent match.

Bin Laden's body was then flown to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, officials told ABC News and he was buried at sea. The burial was done in accordance with Islamic law, officials said, although there has since been dispute over that. A Muslim seaman conducted the process and said the prayers, with bin Laden's body wrapped in the "appropriate way" with a white sheet.

How the Osama Bin Laden was buried by American forces?
An official said that "Traditional procedures for Islamic burial were followed,"
Religious rites were carried out on the deck of a US aircraft carrier, the USS Carl Vinson. The body, shrouded in a white sheet and placed in a weighted bag, was then positioned on a flat board, tipped up, and eased into the Arabian Sea.

This occurred at 0600GMT, approximately 12 hours after the firefight during which Osama Bin Laden was shot in the head.

US officials have given two reasons why a sea burial was chosen. First, that they did not want his grave to become a shrine. Second, that there was no time to negotiate with other countries to arrange a possible burial on land.

USA Administration officials are now trying to decide whether to release photos of bin Laden's corpse.
Releasing the photos would prove that the terror leader is dead, but some officials fear the gruesome nature of the pictures could fan anti-American sentiment.

President Obama praised the anonymous heroes who tracked and killed bin Laden, saying, "We are fortunate to have Americans who dedicate their lives" to defending our country.

"We may not always know their names, we may not always know their stories, but they are always there on the front lines of freedom and we are truly blessed," Obama said in a White House ceremony to honor Medal of Honor winners.

The next target for the United States is likely to be the number two in al Qaeda's chain of command, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Zawahiri, an Egyptian doctor, helped found al Qaeda along with bin Laden.

Abbottabad, Pakistan.

Three senior administration officials briefed reporters late Sunday night.
The operation was the culmination of years of careful and highly advanced intelligence work

After 9/11 the CIA chased several leads about bin Laden's inner circle, paying particular attention to his couriers.

According to the National Journal, one courier's pseudonym was repeatedly mentioned by those detained by the U.S. He was said to be one of bin Laden's most trusted, a protégé of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and trusted assistant to Abu Faraj al Libbi, al-Qaida's third highest-ranking official before his capture in 2005.While at first they had no luck figuring out his true identity, the BBC reports four years ago they caught a break. They figured out his true and identity and two years later, they found the rough location where the courier and his brother lived in Pakistan.

August 2010 –
America got the Tip Yes mansion is related with Taliban and Osama.
American CIA intelligence agents found the Compound and suspected that Osama may be hiding there. In August 2010, the intelligence agencies found the exact compound where this courier was living, in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The compound was 8 times larger than the other homes around it. It was built in 2005
There were extraordinary security measures at the compound, including 12 to 18 foot walls topped with barbed wire.
Internal sections were walled off from the rest of the compound.
There were two security gates.
The residents burned their trash. The main building had few windows.
The compound, despite being worth over $1 million, had no telephone or internet service.
"Intelligence officials concluded that this compound was custom built to hide someone of significance,"

In September 2010, the Guardian reported the CIA presented President Obama with their findings, showing bin Laden could be hiding in the compound in northwest Pakistan.

February 2011 CIA confirmed yes it’s a hide out of Osama bin laden.

After this President Obama took 9 meetings with national security principals about this operation

The principals met 5 times without the president

Their deputies met 7 times

ABC News reported that the principals' meetings were held on March 14, March 29, April 12, April 19 and April 28.

The final decision to go forward with the operation was made at 8:20 AM on Friday, April 29

On Sunday, Obama went to play golf in the morning at Andrews Air Force Base.
Principals again met in white house after 1 PM and stayed there all day long.

At 3.32 PM - President Obama went to the situation room for another briefing.

At 3:50 President was told that bin Laden was identified.

At 7:01 Obama was told once again yes target is Osama bin laden.

At 8:30 Obama got the final briefing.

Mission Started –

It involved flights from an Afghanistan base by four Blackhawk and Chinook helicopters, one of which suffered mechanical failure and made a hard landing within the compound.

Early Morning American Navy Seal started there mission.
On Sunday, US forces said to be from the elite Navy Seal Team Six undertook the operation in Abbottabad, 100km (62 miles) north-east of Islamabad.
It was later destroyed by the commandos.
About 40 troops, largely Navy SEALs, were involved, with 24 rappelling into the compound from the hovering Chinooks. Officials said the firefight was fierce and significant.
The U.S. troops gave Osama what was described as a brief opportunity to surrender before firing several times, at least once into the head. During the operation, a photo of his face was transmitted to analysts, who confirmed the identification.
US officials said Bin Laden was shot in the head after resisting.

Three other adult males died in the 40-minute raid, believed to be Bin Laden's adult son and the two unidentified couriers. One unidentified woman also died as she was being used as a human shield by one of the dead men.
All Americans left safely, loading Bin Laden's body onto the choppers that had landed outside.

One helicopter was lost.
One resident, Nasir Khan, told Reuters the helicopters had come under "intense firing" from the ground.

Another U.S. official told CNN that bin Laden has already been buried at sea. The official said his body was handled in the Islamic tradition, but did not elaborate.

According to Pentagon officials, photos of Bin Laden's dead face do exist but those widely distributed on the Internet are fake.

Full Text of President Obama Declaring Osama bin laden killed

Good evening. Tonight, I can report to the American people and to the world that the United States has conducted an operation that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of al Qaeda, and a terrorist who’s responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.

It was nearly 10 years ago that a bright September day was darkened by the worst attack on the American people in our history. The images of 9/11 are seared into our national memory -- hijacked planes cutting through a cloudless September sky; the Twin Towers collapsing to the ground; black smoke billowing up from the Pentagon; the wreckage of Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where the actions of heroic citizens saved even more heartbreak and destruction.

And yet we know that the worst images are those that were unseen to the world. The empty seat at the dinner table. Children who were forced to grow up without their mother or their father. Parents who would never know the feeling of their child’s embrace. Nearly 3,000 citizens taken from us, leaving a gaping hole in our hearts.

On September 11, 2001, in our time of grief, the American people came together. We offered our neighbors a hand, and we offered the wounded our blood. We reaffirmed our ties to each other, and our love of community and country. On that day, no matter where we came from, what God we prayed to, or what race or ethnicity we were, we were united as one American family.

We were also united in our resolve to protect our nation and to bring those who committed this vicious attack to justice. We quickly learned that the 9/11 attacks were carried out by al Qaeda -- an organization headed by Osama bin Laden, which had openly declared war on the United States and was committed to killing innocents in our country and around the globe. And so we went to war against al Qaeda to protect our citizens, our friends, and our allies.

Over the last 10 years, thanks to the tireless and heroic work of our military and our counterterrorism professionals, we’ve made great strides in that effort. We’ve disrupted terrorist attacks and strengthened our homeland defense. In Afghanistan, we removed the Taliban government, which had given bin Laden and al Qaeda safe haven and support. And around the globe, we worked with our friends and allies to capture or kill scores of al Qaeda terrorists, including several who were a part of the 9/11 plot.

Yet Osama bin Laden avoided capture and escaped across the Afghan border into Pakistan. Meanwhile, al Qaeda continued to operate from along that border and operate through its affiliates across the world.

And so shortly after taking office, I directed Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority of our war against al Qaeda, even as we continued our broader efforts to disrupt, dismantle, and defeat his network.

Then, last August, after years of painstaking work by our intelligence community, I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden. It was far from certain, and it took many months to run this thread to ground. I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden hiding within a compound deep inside of Pakistan. And finally, last week, I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action, and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice.

Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a firefight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body.

For over two decades, bin Laden has been al Qaeda’s leader and symbol, and has continued to plot attacks against our country and our friends and allies. The death of bin Laden marks the most significant achievement to date in our nation’s effort to defeat al Qaeda.

Yet his death does not mark the end of our effort. There’s no doubt that al Qaeda will continue to pursue attacks against us. We must –- and we will -- remain vigilant at home and abroad.

As we do, we must also reaffirm that the United States is not –- and never will be -– at war with Islam. I’ve made clear, just as President Bush did shortly after 9/11, that our war is not against Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader; he was a mass murderer of Muslims. Indeed, al Qaeda has slaughtered scores of Muslims in many countries, including our own. So his demise should be welcomed by all who believe in peace and human dignity.

Over the years, I’ve repeatedly made clear that we would take action within Pakistan if we knew where bin Laden was. That is what we’ve done. But it’s important to note that our counterterrorism cooperation with Pakistan helped lead us to bin Laden and the compound where he was hiding. Indeed, bin Laden had declared war against Pakistan as well, and ordered attacks against the Pakistani people.

Tonight, I called President Zardari, and my team has also spoken with their Pakistani counterparts. They agree that this is a good and historic day for both of our nations. And going forward, it is essential that Pakistan continue to join us in the fight against al Qaeda and its affiliates.

The American people did not choose this fight. It came to our shores, and started with the senseless slaughter of our citizens. After nearly 10 years of service, struggle, and sacrifice, we know well the costs of war. These efforts weigh on me every time I, as Commander-in-Chief, have to sign a letter to a family that has lost a loved one, or look into the eyes of a service member who’s been gravely wounded.

So Americans understand the costs of war. Yet as a country, we will never tolerate our security being threatened, nor stand idly by when our people have been killed. We will be relentless in defense of our citizens and our friends and allies. We will be true to the values that make us who we are. And on nights like this one, we can say to those families who have lost loved ones to al Qaeda’s terror: Justice has been done.

Tonight, we give thanks to the countless intelligence and counterterrorism professionals who’ve worked tirelessly to achieve this outcome. The American people do not see their work, nor know their names. But tonight, they feel the satisfaction of their work and the result of their pursuit of justice.

We give thanks for the men who carried out this operation, for they exemplify the professionalism, patriotism, and unparalleled courage of those who serve our country. And they are part of a generation that has borne the heaviest share of the burden since that September day.

Finally, let me say to the families who lost loved ones on 9/11 that we have never forgotten your loss, nor wavered in our commitment to see that we do whatever it takes to prevent another attack on our shores.

And tonight, let us think back to the sense of unity that prevailed on 9/11. I know that it has, at times, frayed. Yet today’s achievement is a testament to the greatness of our country and the determination of the American people.

The cause of securing our country is not complete. But tonight, we are once again reminded that America can do whatever we set our mind to. That is the story of our history, whether it’s the pursuit of prosperity for our people, or the struggle for equality for all our citizens; our commitment to stand up for our values abroad, and our sacrifices to make the world a safer place.

Let us remember that we can do these things not just because of wealth or power, but because of who we are: one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Thank you. May God bless you. And may God bless the United States of America.

$ 2 Billion Bose Corp. Donated to MIT by Billionaire Dr. Amar Bose

$ 2 Billion Bose Corp. Donated to MIT by Billionaire Dr. Amar Bose

MIT becomes majority owner of Bose Sound Corp.

American billionaire Amar Bose, founder of the iconic Bose Corporation, has given his alma mater MIT a majority of the stock of his audio equipment maker company Massachusetts-based Bose Corp.

Bose Sound Corp a private company, Bose does not disclose its finances, but has reported annual revenue of about $2 billion.

In a statement Massachusetts Institute of Technology said that "Dr Amar Bose has given to MIT (where he also taught) the majority of the stock of Bose Corporation in the form of non-voting shares.

MIT will receive annual cash dividends on those shares when dividends are paid by Bose Corporation. Those cash dividends will be used by the institute to "sustain and advance MIT''s education and research mission."

Under the terms of the gift, MIT cannot sell its Bose shares and will not participate in the management or governance of the company.

"Bose Corporation will remain a private and independent company, and operate as it always has, with no change in strategy or leadership

Dr. Bose received his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and PhD from MIT, all in electrical engineering.
He was asked to join the faculty in 1956, and accepted with the intention of teaching for no more than two years.
He continued as a member of the MIT faculty until 2001, making important contributions to the Institute’s teaching of undergraduate electrical engineering.

In 1964, Dr. Bose founded Bose Corporation.

History of Bose Sound Corporation –

Bose Corporation was founded in 1964 by Dr. Amar G. Bose, then professor of electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. As an MIT grad student in the 1950s, Dr. Bose decided to purchase a new stereo system. He was disappointed to find that speakers with impressive technical specifications failed to reproduce the realism of a live performance.

The quest for better sound was on.

Extensive research in the fields of speaker design and psychoacoustics—the human perception of sound—led to the groundbreaking 901® Direct/Reflecting® speaker system in 1968. Its unprecedented approach to sound reproduction came much closer to the essence and emotional impact of live music, and won immediate acclaim.

The list of major Bose innovations continues to grow. Fourteen years of research led to the development of acoustic waveguide speaker technology, found in our award-winning Wave® radio, Wave® music system and Acoustic Wave® music systems. Acoustimass® speaker technology reshaped conventional thinking about the relationship between speaker size and sound, enabling palm-sized speakers to produce audio quality previously thought impossible from speakers so small.

Auditioner® audio demonstrator technology removed the guesswork from sound system design for arenas and other large venues. It allows builders, architects and facility managers to hear precisely what a Bose® system will sound like in their building, before any equipment is installed, even if the building only exists as a blueprint.

Bose Lifestyle® systems provided a welcome alternative to conventional component-based systems by offering fully integrated home entertainment solutions. Lifestyle® systems deliver award-winning performance and elegance from elements specifically engineered to work together.

The systems approach has paved the way for numerous Bose solutions, audio and beyond. Integrated systems account for the acclaimed performance of Bose automotive sound systems and Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headsets. The revolutionary Bose suspension system and ElectroForce® linear motion system rely on proprietary Bose software and hardware working together in harmony. All feature technologies available only from Bose.

Today, you can find Bose wherever quality sound is important. From the Olympic games to the Sistine Chapel. From NASA space shuttles to the Japan National Theatre. In the home and on the road, from large outdoor arenas to intimate neighborhood stores, restaurants and clubs, you can hear the realism of the most respected name in sound—Bose.

Bose currently employs about 9,000 staffers and is a major economic force in its hometown of Framingham, Mass. The company is known for its high-end speaker systems and headphone

100 American Dollar equals to Indian Rs. 4425

Bose Corp. reported 2010 revenue of more than $2 billion.

Know 11 Important things about NASA's Voyager Mission NASA Voyager I Space Craft reached at the Edge of our Solar System

Know 11 Important things about NASA's Voyager Mission
NASA Voyager I Space Craft reached at the Edge of our Solar System

1.
The 33-year odyssey of NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft has reached a distant point at the edge of our solar system where there is no outward motion of solar wind.

2.
The Voyagers were built by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., which continues to operate both spacecraft.

3.
Our sun gives off a stream of charged particles that form a bubble known as the heliosphere around our solar system. The solar wind travels at supersonic speed until it crosses a shockwave called the termination shock. At this point, the solar wind dramatically slows down and heats up in the heliosheath.

4.
Now hurtling toward interstellar space some 17.4 billion kilometers (10.8 billion miles) from the sun, Voyager 1 has crossed into an area where the velocity of the hot ionized gas, or plasma, emanating directly outward from the sun has slowed to zero. Scientists suspect the solar wind has been turned sideways by the pressure from the interstellar wind in the region between stars.

5.
The event is a major milestone in Voyager 1's passage through the heliosheath, the turbulent outer shell of the sun's sphere of influence, and the spacecraft's upcoming departure from our solar system.

6.
Launched on Sept. 5, 1977, Voyager 1 crossed the termination shock in December 2004 into the heliosheath. Scientists have used data from Voyager 1's Low-Energy Charged Particle Instrument to deduce the solar wind's velocity. When the speed of the charged particles hitting the outward face of Voyager 1 matched the spacecraft's speed, researchers knew that the net outward speed of the solar wind was zero. This occurred in June, when Voyager 1 was about 17 billion kilometers (10.6 billion miles) from the sun.

7.
Both spacecraft are still sending scientific information about their surroundings through NASA's Deep Space Network. A signal from the ground, traveling at the speed of light, takes about 13 hours one way to reach Voyager 2, and 16 hours one way to reach Voyager 1.

8.
The primary five-year mission of the Voyagers included the close-up exploration of Jupiter and Saturn, Saturn's rings and the larger moons of the two planets. The mission was extended after a succession of discoveries, and between them, the two spacecraft have explored all the giant outer planets of our solar system -- Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, 49 moons, and the systems of rings and magnetic fields those planets possess.

9.
The Golden Record - Both Voyager spacecraft carry recorded messages from Earth on golden phonograph records – 12-inch, gold-plated copper disks. A committee chaired by the late astronomer Carl Sagan selected the contents of the records for NASA. The records are cultural time capsules that the Voyagers carry with them to other star systems. They contain images and natural sounds, spoken greetings in 55 languages and musical selections from different cultures and eras.

10.
The current mission, the Voyager Interstellar Mission, was planned to explore the outermost edge of our solar system and eventually leave our sun's sphere of influence and enter interstellar space – the space between the stars.

11.
Where No Spacecraft Has Gone Before - Voyager 1 has reached a distant point at the edge of our solar system, where the outward motion of solar wind ceases. The event is the latest milestone in Voyager 1's passage through the heliosheath, the outer shell of the sun's sphere of influence, before entering interstellar space. Interstellar space begins at the heliopause, and scientists estimate Voyager 1 will cross this frontier around 2015.
