Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday declared that his support to Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi is “conditional” and “issue based”.

Following are the demands of Baba Ramdev He will support Narendra Modi only if Narendra Modi accepts the following conditions of Baba Ramdev

He said that if Narendra Modi accepts his demands he will see that BJP wins 300 election seats

The yoga guru said his support for the BJP and CM Narendra Modi will be based on the three principles of ‘
Neeti – Policy
Netratav – Leadership
Neeyat – Intent

1-
Scrapping all existing taxes -
Because of a many taxes every commodity from cooking gas to fuel is nearly double the price. The country needs economic independence so scrap all the taxes.
Abolish all taxes like sales tax and income tax

2-
The implementation of a single bank transaction tax to tackle corruption
There should be only one tax that should be levied which Bank Transaction Tax (BTT), which should be of one percent.

3-
Withdrawal of high denomination currency notes.
Demanding a rollback of 500-1000 rupee notes

4-
Giving impetus to domestic investment

5-
Declare Black Money as the national property

6-
Bring back all the black money

7-
Solve the problems of farmers

The demands of Baba Ramdev are excellent

Interesting demands - It is a fact that our taxation system is very complex and adds to the plight of business people and salaried people, alike. Not sure if that 1% proposed bank transactions will be sufficient, but it's definitely worth probing. Especially along with abolishing 1000 rupee notes.

I hope the emergence of AAP will inspire other parties to take anti-corruption as a serious issue (that people want) and start working towards agendas and motivations that encourage corruption in politics. But for that to happen effectively, industry & people should also reduce the amount of corruption they are doing in their daily lives. Will they?
